HOW IT Started
Sean’s Story
I’m Sean Siembab, the inventor and owner of the patented technology for the .simstechnology device. I spent 14 years professionally as a juvenile correctional officer and have both witnessed and been involved in life-threatening assaults. The inmate-to-officer ratio was typically 25:1, and the assaults usually occurred from behind.
Unfortunately, I was the victim of such an assault and suffered a traumatic brain injury. I realized during my physical therapy and rehab, that there had to be some way to prevent this kind of event.

During my recovery, I was walking on a bike path wearing headphones when a cyclist struck me from behind. I didn’t see or hear him; nor did I have time to react. It was at that point that the concept for .simstechnology was born. I knew there had to be a device that could alert someone to potential threats approaching from behind. Cameras exist that capture incidents like this, but they do not warn people in real-time. The .simstechnology device does exactly this. Wearers receive an alert when potential human threats and/or objects are approaching from behind. In addition, the .simstechnology device can upload images to the cloud for storage and evidence.
Our goal is to have this device on every runner, walker, or anyone looking for added protection and peace of mind. The .simstechnology device gives customers a greater awareness of their surroundings, enabling them to be more confident while participating in outdoor activities. To make that goal a reality, I have assembled a team of highly motivated and skilled professionals to manage daily operations – from marketing and oversight of technology development to company outreach. Each team member has more than 20 years of experience in their respective field, bringing with them immense knowledge and, more importantly, the passion and dedication needed to bring .simstechnology to market.

I have assembled a team that is highly motivated and skilled that deals with the daily operations from marketing to overseeing the development of the technology as well as meeting with companies as we gear up for CES 2024 in Las Vegas. The team consists of five individuals that have over 20 years experience in each of there fields. These individuals are very successful and are very excited about .simstechnology
